Happy Friday and Day 64 of Another 100 Days of Hannah, y’all!
First things first: I really need to adjust the timers on my Christmas lights. They probably don’t need to be on this long after sunrise. Maybe later?
Second: I spent wayyy too long reading random articles on my phone this morning, and now my eyes are not particularly happy with me. Good thing I’m heading to the eye doctor today!
Side note: Yes, eye doctors still need to go see the eye doctor. Thankfully though, at least in my case, my doctor is a good friend (and was my frequent practice partner in school, and so probably knows my eyes better than just about anyone) – so, we’re totally using today as an excuse to grab lunch and catch up before she goes back to seeing patients this afternoon. Win? I think yes.
Okay, now onto blogging.
Well, that would be if I had a clue what I was going to write about today…
How many of y’all use a to-do list?
I’ve tried working with to-do lists on and off for… I don’t know, probably 4-5 years? With, admittedly, little success.
Okay, it’s not that they don’t work, it’s just that I’m easily distracted and often forget to actually write things down.
Or, I write too many things down and have, frankly, unreasonably high expectations for what I can or will accomplish in a day, and then get super frustrated with myself for not successfully crossing everything off.
The last couple of days though, I’ve been thinking about re-initiating my to-do list making.
Well, primarily to up my post-work motivation.
So often when I get home, especially on particularly stressful days, I have little desire to do much of anything. And so, I get distracted while charting, and somehow what should be an hour-ish long task ends up taking closer to two hours.
Which isn’t particularly great for productivity levels.
And so, here I am, contemplating jumping back on the to-do list bandwagon – I’ll let you know how it goes!
