Day 69: Nothing to Say

Happy… Wednesday and Day 69 of Another 100 Days of Hannah, y’all!
This (later than normal) morning post is brought to you by COVID test conundrums.
And wedding pianist questions.
No, I’m not getting married.  Thanks for asking.  But, if you know someone who’s looking for a pianist (my organ skills aren’t there yet…) for their special day… Hi. I like music.
In any case… what to talk about on this dreary Wednesday morning?
Ahh yes.
This morning, when my mind wasn’t spinning about everything else that I needed to accomplish before work, I was thinking about how often recently it has felt like I have nothing to really say.
Which can, admittedly, bother me.
Because, well, why would anyone want to read my writing when I don’t really have anything potentially valuable to say?
From there, it can be easy to want to force myself to create content.
To put on a certain face.
To be an encourager.
To be an inspirer.
Rather than to simply be… Hannah.
Because, Hannah doesn’t always (ever?) have the answers.
Hannah isn’t always an encourager.
Hannah isn’t always inspiring.
But, as my therapist frequently reminds me, that’s okay.
It’s okay to just be…me.
Here in this space, and in every day life.
Without worrying about all the ‘shoulda, woulda, coulda’s’.
And, believe it or not, that means it’s okay to be you too.
‘Til tomorrow,
