Happy FRIDAY and Day 141 of Another 100 Days of Hannah …and Counting, y’all!
First things first: today I decided to try a new charting strategy, in which I put in all the pertinent information that I may forget right after work, and then save all the little annoying parts for while I watch The Flash with the little one.
We’ll see how it works.
From there though, IT’S FRIDAY, Y’ALL!
Yes, I’m really that excited about it. Anyone else have a long week this week?
If so, please share in my enthusiasm for the long awaited arrival of FRIDAY. If not, well, you’re welcome to share in the excitement too.
Okay, real thoughts.
Have any of you ever wished that some day you could have all of your favorite people in the same place on the same day?
It’s definitely crossed my mind before. Unfortunately though, the only two times that I see this happening in most people’s lives is for their wedding, or for their funeral. The first, I’m not anticipating anytime soon. The second, well, there’s no real enjoying that…
But, as I was thinking about all of my favorite people today in preparation for my favorite day of the year, I realized that maybe I was wrong – that maybe having everyone together wouldn’t be all it was cracked up to be.
I mean, if everyone was together, sure, that’d be a lot of amazing people in one place, but, I feel like it’d be impossible to actually enjoy everyone. Especially as someone who’s primary love language is quality time.
For me, the times that matter most, by far, are the times that I get to spend one on one time with the people I love.
Which isn’t to say that I don’t wish that all of my favorite people lived in the same general area. That would be absolutely incredible – to be able to do life with all of my loved ones.
But, I guess, it makes me appreciate all the little moments with my people even more – the impromptu walks, trips, game nights, meals… everything.
And so, if you happen to be one of these people, thank you, for the days when you’re simply there.
Catch y’all tomorrow,
PS: Somehow I completely missed the memo of how incredible the music from Waitress is… wow. A bit blown away over here. If you somehow have also missed the memo, CHECK IT OUT.
Okay, that’s all 🙂
