Day 188: Rushed

Happy Wednesday and Day 188 of Another 100 Days of Hannah ...and Counting, y'all!

So, this morning, I had half a post written about not having enough time to do things. However, I ran out of time to finish writing it before heading off to work. Imagine that.

Surprise of all surprises, today was an insane day at the… not office. Details aside, I didn’t end up getting home until 4:30p, and then didn’t wrap up charting until 6:30p, after which I ate a bite of dinner, then went back to practice organ for over an hour. By the time I got home, it was 8:45p.

With 1/3 workout rings completed, no blog written, no postlude picked out, and absolutely no housework done.

Maybe I’m not crazy in feeling like I’m always running behind as of late.

Admittedly, this feeling often has me rushing – pushing to try to get things done so I can move on to something else.

While this may be a great technique when it comes to biking into the wind, it’s a pretty crappy one for enjoying life. Instead, I just feel frustrated and hurried, like I’m not really giving my best effort to anything that I’m doing.

Unfortunately, I’m not exactly sure what to do with that. Except to go to bed.
